This is video from the “Head to Head” series that featured the rivarly between West Jones and Wayne Co. Notice in this video that the head coach is using profanity in front of students and using profanity directed at students. Mr. Walters was fired from his teaching position for using the same exact words. (Note: Mr. Walters never directly cursed a student.) Why was Mr. Walters fired and not the coach. Note: We do not believe the coach should have been fired but neither should Mr. Walters. Point: The double standard must end in the JCSD

This makes me SO ANGRY. Mr. Walters was my favorite teacher in high school. I’d be willing to bet he did MUCH MORE for his students that Coach Pearson ever has, or will do.
Keep standing up for what you believe in, Mr. Walters. The truth will out!!! You’re an inspiration to us all.
