Daily Cuss

Just a quick 30 second video of a typical daily life in the video game Kingpin Life of Crime. Just something to show a few people so it’s short and sweet. The game was pretty revolutionary back in the days. It was based in a highly detailed world full of intriuging characters both friendly and hostile, and one of the best things about the game was shooting at first sight wasn’t always the best approach. Being nice to people and bribing them would make people help you out and give you hints on how to bypass dangerous areas. You could hire bodyguards to help you out in firefights, and you could even ask them to take someone out with a “do your thing.” Nothing feels better then entering a gang hideout with 2 of your bodyguards and not only exchanging bullets but also exchanging seriously foul language. Epic stuff! And some characters in the game even reacted differently depending on circumstances. Lone lightly armed thugs would prefer to exchange verbal abuse then get into a fight with you, but if they were welding shotguns and outnumbered you, there’s a good chance they’d start attacking if you started cussing them. Plus you could explore the levels at your own pace, find secret areas, and even go to pawn shops to buy guns and upgrades for them. So in a way Kingpin kind of had RPG elements in it. Class. The game is fairly old (maybe over 10 years or so I dunno) so yes the graphics aren’t too good. Please refrain from stating the obvious, thank you.
